LED Screen Rental in Lagos: What Affects the Cost?
“How much does it cost to rent an LED screen?” is the first question most event planners ask. The honest answer is: it depends. Here are the factors that shape an LED screen rental quote in Lagos — and how to get the best value.
1. Screen size
Size is the biggest factor. LED screens are built from panels, so a larger screen means more panels, more structure and more setup time.
2. Indoor or outdoor
Outdoor screens are brighter and weather-resistant, which makes them a different class of equipment to indoor screens. Outdoor setups also need more planning for structure, power and protection.
3. Number of event days
A one-day event is priced differently from a three-day conference or a week-long exhibition. Multi-day bookings often offer better value per day.
4. Location and logistics
Delivery distance, traffic, venue access, load-in times and travel outside Lagos all affect the quote. Events outside Lagos may include transport and crew accommodation.
5. Setup complexity
A screen on a simple ground stand is quicker to install than a large LED wall flown on truss or built into a stage design.
6. Extras and production
- Live camera feeds so guests see speakers and performers up close
- Video switching between slides, videos and cameras
- Livestreaming for online audiences
- Add-ons such as sound, lighting and staging
7. Season and timing
Weekends and the festive season (November to December) are the busiest periods in Lagos. Booking early gives you more choice and avoids last-minute stress.
How to get the best value
- Book early, especially for December events.
- Bundle services — booking screens, sound and lighting from one company usually costs less than coordinating several suppliers.
- Share accurate details about the venue and program so the quote is right the first time.
- Ask about setup timing so there are no overtime surprises.
